Darfur, the holocaust in Sudan

Do you know what genocide is? If not, you need to know! Genocide is the systematic extermination of people based on racial, cultural, ethnical, or religious differences. During World War Two, it happened: the slaughter of three million Jews and Six million others, just because of race, religion, culture, or ethnics. Unbelievable  persecution was placed against them. During Adolf Hitler's reign as ruler of Germany, thousands of Nazi soldiers and SS Men raped, shot, and incinerated them in concentration camps and ghettos. When the war ended, they swore it would never happen again. They were wrong.

Genocide is still going on today. Since 1900, 10-12 million people have suffered from genocide. In Darfur, Africa, in 2003, war broke out between tribes in the North and South. They argued and fought like angry wolves. The president there ordered Janjaweed (Arab militias) to go and murder thousands of black Sudanese. They burned villages, and murdered the souls of thousands! The government has been giving the Janjaweed weapons and uniforms to punch the population of people who live in Darfur in the stomach. The government is completely out of control. 500 die each day. Three million more are homeless. 80% of the children die of malnutrition from no food or water. The U.S. has tried to help, but has it been enough? What's happening in Darfur is inhumane. Even though the Janjaweed are killing, they don't get anything in return except a one-way trip to becoming no-good murderers!  One person can make a difference! This time let's make sure that the words "never again" will honored and followed by us. This is what has been happening! It needs to be stopped!
